Boria Like That

Bismillah...

Boria; wearing the same thing@colours @same pattern.

1st Syawal the Rushdan's clan wore peach-orangy baju kurung.

2nd day of Syawal we wore black arbaya.

The 3rd day of Syawal we wore beaded baju kurung which I bought in Vietnam.

I don't want to be Sick

Bismillah...

Health is gold and diamonds *and all those precious stones*

Today I don't feel well...
I took 3 hours off in the evening so that I could send my sister's scholarship form to WCT, Shah Alam.

I arrived home feeling sick. I lay down for 15 minutes, finish up my breakfast and went to the clinic. Suddenly....

I felt sad when the medical assistant said that I had a fever. And I cried. I can't stop the tears from rolling down my cheeks. My number was called. I tried to stop crying but it won't stop. The Dr was curious. I was ashamed. She asked why I cried and I just told her I wasn't feeling well.

I can't tell her the truth. I can't confess that I can't fall sick. I have a lot to do. There are so many things that needs to be done. So many things to think and find solutions.

Ya Allah, let me be strong and healthy till the day I die. Amin.

Eid Mubarak 1434H

Bismillah...

Alhamdulillah. Today is 1st Syawal 1434H, 8.8.2013...

The day we were 'born' as new person after a month of purifying our soul. It is the day to be grateful after a successful Ramadhan. The day to seek forgiveness and forgive others.

The day started with Eidulfitri prayer at Masjid Kulim, then to my Aunt's grave at Masjid Kelang Lama, followed with a family photo in town and visiting relative's house.

Wassalam & Cheers.

What Type of Person are You??

Bismillah...

Ramadhan is about to end. Just 2 more days till Syawal. Some people would feel sad and some would feel happy. It depends on your iman.

The most peaceful place on earth =D

It seems that there are a few types of Muslims during this Ramadhan. From my point of view I'd categorise them as;

  • Pious Muslims who would humbly go to Mosques to pray and do terawih or even stay home to celebrate this holy month with their family.
  • Muslims who'd go to different restaurants and hotels to break their fast.
  • Muslims who change to become a better person.
  • Those who don't really care and behave as if it's just a random month.
Everyone has their own way of celebrating Ramadhan. If we didn't do enough deeds during this Ramadhan, let's hope to meet next year's Ramadhan. Insya Allah.

Sport Planet Warehouse Sale

Bismillah...

A shopaholic shops like crazy on a sunny day and regrets later when it rains.

There's a warehouse sale by Sports Planet at Space, U8, Shah Alam. There are so many great and cheap sports attire and equipment available here. It starts around 11am until 9pm until 8th August 2013.

I went there twice today. The first time was with my cousin. I bought 2 sports shoes and socks. *let's ignore  the pink Nike at home*

My pink Nike

Puma OSU Canvas rm159 *original price rm229*

Adipure Training 360 rm199 *original price rm350*
Puma socks 3 for rm25 and Nike socks rm22

The second time I went there with my siblings. My brother bought 2 pairs of sneakers, a slack and socks.

Super cheap and great value for money. Happy shopping!!!

Wassalam & Cheers.

Old School Like That

Bismillah...

Ramadhan, a bleesing month. Syawal,  a happy month... *am I going to get any duit Raya???*

Today is the 25th of Ramadhan 1434 *3rd August 2013*. Another 4 days to increase our effort of doing good deeds and become a better Muslim. It is the time to find Lailatul Qadar on the odd nights of Ramadhan. It's actually sad that Ramadhan will end in 4 more days.

I hope that my good behaviour during this holy month continues until the day I die. I hope that whatever I did in this holy month is accepted by Allah swt.  I hope that I'll be a better Muslim in future.

Speaking of Syawal, it's the time to seek forgiveness from family and friends.  A few weeks ago I bought a few Eid cards. It's just an instinct to buy and post Eid cards to a few friends. The act on randomness. Just for fun.

I hope they liked it. Old school like that.

Alhamdulillah

Bismillah...

Alhamdulillah is the best word to describe today's feeling.

A hectic day at work. A peaceful Asar at Masjid Wilayah. Free iftar buffet at The Bird with new friends. The best Terawih prayer for this month.  A good time at starbucks Hartamas with Elly.

1st August, a good start for the month.

Wassalam & Cheers.
